Revelation of Jesus Christ

From the KJV 1611 with Strong's Concordance

Signs of Christ's Return

Many of the warning signs that Christ gave to the early church point to the destruction of Jerusalem in the 1st century and were fulfilled. That said, we should still pay close attention to Christ's teachings. There are cycles throughout history where certain events have a habit of repeating themselves. The book of Revelation can also be perceived as an insight into a play book of the ages given to us so certain events do not over take us.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-6.

That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9.
