Revelation of Jesus Christ
From the KJV 1611 with Strong's Concordance
Great Babylon & the Chaldean mind
The Land of Confusion
Babylon means confusion. When a person is confused it is generally because they lack truth and so become fearful. Fear of the unknown brings about a sense of panic, and anxiety leading to irrational decision making, delusion, chaos, and ultimately destruction. Babylon the Great is mentioned throughout the book of Revelation, it can not only be understood as a tyrannical kingdom but also a time of great confusion on the earth that is brought about by a mass exodus from the simple truth that is in Jesus Christ and the word of God. See H0894.
Babylon, Babel comes from the word balal meaning to overflow, by implication to mix; also denominative from the word beliyl meaning mixed, specifically feed for cattle. When truth is mixed with lies, sense mixed with nonsense, and then added to everyone's daily feed of information (news) the result is confusion.
Spiritual Confusion
The Babylonians worshipped a pantheon of deities including the luminaries: sun, moon, stars, planets (wandering stars), and the constellations whom they sought for guidance. They worshipped nature and animal spirits and they bowed down to and served idols that were figures, and statues made of wood, stone, gold, and silver. In short the Babylonian's worshipped the creation instead of the creator trusting in idols that could neither see, hear or eat, walk, talk or breathe.
Counsel of Confusion
In chapters 1 & 2 we read of Nebuchadnezzar's counsel consisted of magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, soothsayers, and the Chaldeans who were considered the wiser of the wise men. Without going down too deep a rabbit hole the king was receiving his advice from a mash up of international superstitious occultists who sought their counsel from channeling the spirit realm through the practice of astrology, witchcraft, sorcery and idol worship. Drugs and the administration of medication are a key part of sorcery, so was the king being drugged? Willingly or unknowingly it may explain the king's short fuse, and explosive temper that everyone feared. Add these components to a court of 'yes' men who bowed down and elevated the king to a god-like status, and the feeding of the self or ego would have resulted in a tired, confused, paranoid, and deluded mind.

Mystery Babylon
The Babylonian strategy under the Chaldean Empire was to take the best, and brightest minds from all the nations that were conquered, and then assimilate them into the Babylonian mind set in order to advance the kingdom. The magicians (chartom) of Egypt, the sorcerers (kashaph) of the Canaanites, the conjurers/astrologers (ashshaph) of the Chaldeans... this collection of occult practitioners from different nations would lead us to suspect that the great Babylon may have been a vehicle for the Chaldeans to seek out lost and hidden knowledge resulting in the premier college for the Mystery School religions (aka Mystery Babylon). Witchcraft and sorcery was common in many of the ancient cultures both pre-flood, and after. Captives taken to Babylon would have to learn the Chaldean language which would make this lost knowledge easier to translate over to the Chaldeans.
Witchcraft and sorcery is a tool box of deceptive methods to control the will of another person, group or nation. Methods include: lies, bribery, manipulation, coercion, blackmail, spying (espionage), secret societies, secret oaths, secret police, honey traps, demoralisation, drugs, medication, poisoning, gender confusion, threats, false flag events, terrorism, and even manufactured wars to name but a few, and probably the most effective methods that go under most people's radars in modern times being the Hegelian dialectic, perception management, drugs, trauma based mind control, and psychological warfare. The enemy will use whatever means to achieve their determined outcome. Everything we take for granted in society can be weaponised against us from our relationships, the family unit, religion, politics, finance, economics, education, news, and entertainment, food production, healthcare to the weather, and we should not be naive to these devices.
Mastery over man & beast
There are many preserved Assyrian/Babylonian reliefs that depict the ruling class hunting lions for sport. These displays served as an early form of royal propaganda to demonstrate to their subjects, and the other nations their mastery over the most dangerous of wild beasts. The capture of these dangerous animals was also used to put fear into the hearts of men as a means of control. Daniel was put into a man made den occupied with lions as punishment for going against the king's degree.
Feudalism
Thou, O king, art a king of kings: Daniel 2:37
Nebuchadnezzar was the top dog during his reign with kings from other nations known as vassal kings having to pay allegiance to him. This relationship is a key element of feudal systems, where a vassal king provides military support, tribute and loyalty in exchange for protection and recognition from their overlord. In short it is a protection racket, a pyramidical structure of power to maintain the status quo which shall continue throughout time until the end when Christ shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. See 1 Corinthians 15:24.
He who controls the food controls the people
Since man acquired the knowledge of irrigation, and the diversion of water it has made possible for the ultimate control of the water supply and in turn food production. The digging of drainage systems, canals, and the building of dams can be used for both good, and bad with a society upstream gaining whilst another down stream losing their life source or in extreme circumstances the deliberate flooding of settlements.
Babylon was once famous for it's hanging gardens, and was considered one of the seven wonders of the world suggesting the Babylonians had a firm grasp on water management. In the 2nd dream of king Nebuchadnezzar his kingdom is depicted as a giant tree that fills the earth, and all flesh was fed of it. Daniel 4:12.
He who controls education controls the mind
When Daniel and his companions were taken captive they were subjected to being indoctrinated into the Chaldean ways. The method included learning the Chaldean language, told what to wear, and what to eat then after three years they were to stand before the king and tested on their wisdom (much like the modern education system). If the students impressed the king they were then added to his counsel of wise men (Magian, Magi). The assimilation of one culture into another has long time been a strategy of warfare with the stamping out of individualism, free thinking, and the free will to seek out the living God.
It's worth noting that the Jesuit priesthood of the Roman Catholic Church adopted the same methods as a means to counter the protestant reformation. The Jesuits set up schools, colleges, universities and hospitals across all of the territories of Rome to indoctrinate, and take captive the hearts, and minds of the youth with their ideologies, versions of theology, and the sciences. Theories, and assumptions taught as fact leading to the dismissal of biblical teachings, and eventually the removal of the scriptures from education. The Babylonian mind set is alive, and well only executed more subtly, and more sophisticated whilst the gatekeepers remain hidden in plain sight.
The origins of the builders
The king spoke, and said, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?" Daniel 4:30.
Social engineering, it's true purpose?
Babylon, and the Chaldean ideology is all about dominion, and controlling every aspect of mankind in order to maintain power and rule. We can trace it's origins back to antediluvian times with Cain being the first of the city builders. We read in Genesis 4:8-12 that when Cain murdered his brother Abel the ground that opened her mouth to receive his brother's blood became cursed, and when he would till the ground to grow food it would no longer yield to him her strength. It is reasonable to suggest that Cain would have needed to devise a plan in order to survive, and what better way than to build a city, a place where people could commune, trade, a place of prosperity, a place with walls for "protection", and a 24/7 watch where Cain and his offspring could make the rules, be the middlemen, and live off the blessings, and productivity of others in return for "peace and security", a chief slogan that is used to this very day to gain mastery and dominion over men.
Note: the Hebrew word for city ('iyr H5892) is the same as the Chaldean word for Watcher meaning 'guardian angel' (iyr H5894).
Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?
