The Cult of Inanna/Ishtar
In part 1 of the study of the four beasts of Daniel 7 we discovered that Nebuchadnezzar as well as being king was also High Priest of the temple of Eanna also known as the Cult of Inanna, or Ishtar. This study is part of the Daniel four beast kingdoms in order to better understand the driving elements, and what ultimately leads to their destruction. We are searching out patterns of consistency within these kingdoms with a view of better understanding the prophecies of Daniel, Revelation and where we are now in the stream of time.
What is The cult of Inanna?
The cult of Inanna, Sumer's premier goddess of love, war, and justice, was defined by its embrace of gender diversity, unconventional clergy, and powerful female authority centered in Uruk. It featured androgynous priests (gala), ritual boundary-crossing, and likely sacred marriage rites, deeply influencing later Near Eastern deities.

Inaana/Ishtar the worship of the stars
Inaana was a star goddess to the ancient Sumerians, also known later as Ishtar (the east star) to the Babylonians. Today the star is known as Venus as the Romans named it. The ancients worshipped the luminaries including, Shamash the sun, Sin the moon, and Ishtar the east star. The luminaries have different names in different cultures. For example the Egyptians called the east star Isis, the Phoenicians/Canaanites it was known as Astarte/Ashtoreth. In Norse it was Freyja where the name Friday originates and in Greek it was called Aphrodite and in Hindu it was known as Durga. Worship of the luminaries was common throughout the ancient world and is a major part of Pagan religion. It is the worship of the creation rather than the creator.

The Cult of Inanna: The Eanna temple was a major center for the cult of Inanna in Uruk, and its high priest was often the king himself, a position associated with ensuring agricultural prosperity and performing the sacred marriage rite. Notable figures who served in a priestly capacity at Eanna include Meshkiangasher, a legendary king and priest of the temple, and Nabonassar, a šatammu (high priest) of Eanna in the 7th century BC. High-ranking priestesses, like the entu, also held authoritative roles within the cult of Inanna.
The King as Chief Priest
Note: The joint role of high priest and king (church & state - religio/politics in one man) would come into play in Israel after the seventy year captivity in Babylon demonstrating the powerful Babylonian influence over Judah.
Agricultural Prosperity:
This ritual guaranteed the agricultural abundance of the city, a role heavily emphasised in depictions like the Warka Vase.
Title "EN":
The Sumerian word "EN" for high priest originally meant "husband" or "owner," reflecting the king's position as the goddess's consort.

Location of Uruk
Uruk was not located in Babylon; Uruk was a separate, important city in ancient Sumer and Babylonia, situated about 110 miles (177 km) southeast of Babylon. It was the location of the world's first urbanized city during the Uruk period and was known for its pioneering development of writing and administrative systems.
Uruk
Uruk, the archeological site known today as Warka, was an ancient city in the Near East or West Asia, located east of the current bed of the Euphrates River, on an ancient, now-dried channel of the river in Muthanna Governorate, Iraq. The site lies 93 kilometres (58 miles) northwest of ancient Ur, 108 kilometres (67 miles) southeast of ancient Nippur, and 24 kilometres (15 miles) northwest of ancient Larsa. It is 30 km (19 mi) east of modern Samawah.
Uruk is the type site for the Uruk period. Uruk played a leading role in the early urbanization of Sumer in the mid-4th millennium BC. By the final phase of the Uruk period around 3100 BC, the city may have had 40,000 residents, with 80,000–90,000 people living in its environs, making it the largest urban area in the world at the time. Gilgamesh, according to the chronology presented in the Sumerian King List (SKL), ruled Uruk in the 27th century BC. After the end of the Early Dynastic period, with the rise of the Akkadian Empire, the city lost its prime importance. It had periods of florescence during the Isin-Larsa period, Neo-Assyrian and Neo-Babylonian periods and throughout the Achaemenid (550–330 BC), Seleucid (312–63 BC) and Parthian (227 BC to AD 224) periods, until it was finally abandoned shortly before or after the Islamic conquest of 633–638.
The second city of Nimrod
William Kennett Loftus visited the site of Uruk in 1849, identifying it as "Erech", known as "the second city of Nimrod", and led the first excavations from 1850 to 1854. In myth and literature, Uruk was famous as the capital city of Gilgamesh, hero of the Epic of Gilgamesh. Biblical scholars identify Uruk as the biblical Erech (Genesis 10:10), the second city founded by Nimrod in Shinar.
Early Dynastic, Akkadian, Ur III, and Old Babylonian period
Uruk continued as principality of Ur, Babylon, and later Achaemenid, Seleucid, and Parthian Empires.
Note: Ur of the Chaldeas was the city that Abraham was called out of by God the Father.
Artifacts
The Mask of Warka, also known as the 'Lady of Uruk' and the 'Sumerian Mona Lisa', dating from 3100 BC, is one of the earliest representations of the human face. The carved marble female face is probably a depiction of Inanna. It is approximately 20 cm (7.9 in) tall, and may have been incorporated into a larger cult image. The mask was looted from the Iraq Museum during the invasion of Iraq in April 2003. It was recovered in September 2003 and returned to the museum.

Summary
The word Babylon means confusion with gender confusion clearly playing a big role in the lives of the Babylonian priesthood and ruling class. The marriage ritual between a person and the 'goddess' performed by the priest-king points to the initiation into the cult, a binding of oneself, a submission of ownership (body and soul) to the consort (the priest king) and the goddess. The initiation into these secret societies and the mystery school religions appears to begin with a ritual (an act), an oath of secrecy, sometimes blood oaths and oaths on pain of death are involved. It is possible that it may have been a requirement to be part of the inner circle and a gave a greater means for the ruling inner circle to control the subject either by oaths or through blackmail.
It does appear that the practice and promotion of gender confusion or gender non conformity never went away, rather it went underground and was practiced in secrecy, hence where we get the terms secret societies and mystery religions. With the rise of Christianity, these practices would no longer be considered acceptable in society and so the priesthood would need to appear as though they went away.
Mystery Babylon
The cult of Inanna appears to be centred around goddess worship which points to the woman in Revelation who sits on a beast (king/kingdom), she has a name written upon her forehead, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH, and she is drunk on the blood of the Saints, and with the Martyrs of Jesus. From Semiramis, Isis, Ishtar, Venus, Diana, and Mary (Catholicism) to name but a few, Goddess worship (often shown with a child) can be traced throughout the ancient world, and into the modern world. The word MYSTERY meaning; (to shut the mouth); a secret or mystery (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites) and BABYLON meaning confusion which points to the outcome, being a strong delusion.
The natural order v The new world order
There is the undeniable natural order as God the Father intended and there are secret societies whom through out the ages have sought to create their own order, a new world order. This priesthood seeks to turn the world upside down where bad becomes good and darkness becomes light. Their goal is to project their influence onto the rest of mankind and undo what Christ performed on the cross. There are references throughout the bible pertaining to this practice. This is the true nature of revolt or apostasy where men go against the commandments and natural order of God's creation. The latest onslaught began under the Obama ministration with the legalisation of gay marriage.
The depths of Satan
It opens up the flood gates of hell, and once one thing becomes normalised or legalised then others with more depraved practices begin demanding their vices are made legal and normalised including gay couples adopting children, the age of legal consent lowered for gay men to have sex with boys then those who practice bestiality come forth out of the wood work with their demands, then finally it is sacrifice and cannibalism and before you know it the natural order as God intended has been flipped on it's head and society is ripe for destruction. From Sodom and Gomorrah, to the Canaanites, Phoenicians, Myans, Aztecs and so forth, it is a story that repeats itself over and over. Right now the UK has another compromised Prime minister who thinks men can have babies, that should tell you where we are in the stream of time. The Uk government along with other governments have become a deranged death cult obsessed with de-population through the normalisation of wars, drugs, injections, euthanasia of the sick and old, fear of the weather, sunlight, the trans agenda and it is now time to wake up and walk it back to avoid destruction. Revelation speaks to the depths of Satan where society is systematically taken down into the depths of depravity one satanic step at a time and all it takes is a society who are willing to go along just to get along.
The weaponisation of education
The trans gender indoctrination is all by design, there is a reason why the state has been after our children from a young age with state education, and sadly we are now seeing the fruit and it is rotten to the core. It was another priesthood known as the Jesuits of the Roman Catholic Church who coined the phrase 'Give me the child from the age of seven and I will show you the man'. Young minds are easy to mould and easy to warp and if your child is in a school where gender nonsense is tolerated then you might want to consider taking them out of there. It may all seem cool and rainbows from a child's perspective, children who are groomed to identify as a different gender often are treated as though they are special which can seduce other children into the trap. Parents need to be aware of the hidden dangers around hormone blockers and sex change operations and the physical and mental harms that leads to the highest rates of suicide in young adults. Educate your children to be happy in themselves and who they are. Children are being preyed upon with these agendas, and if it wasn't promoted in schools, children's entertainment and books, the children would not know anything about it. This is an agenda that is being pushed by the government and it is designed to confuse and destroy the minds of our children and society. We need to have open and honest conversations with our children as to what they are being taught in schools so that as a parent we can offer a counter narrative that exposes the dangers and harms to this deceptive wicked agenda.
Child Education Mind Hack Programmes
If you're interested in some of the programming involved in grooming children in schools I would recommend investigating into the GATE or GATEWAY programme carried out from 1966 to recent times and the DARE programme from the 80's to present and the the latest RSE (Relationship Sex Education). These malign programmes can be linked to the Tavistock Institute (UK), Chatham House (UK) and Stanford University (US) with connections to eugenics. I believe they are all child mind hack programmes which on the surface seem innocent but under the hood are far from it and they appear to be connected.
We are in the world, not of the world
It's important to guard our mind and the minds of our children in these times. We are dealing with serpents who are masters of trickery and deception whose aim is to take a person's mind captive, lead them astray and ultimately to self destruction. Jesus tells us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves, meaning we must be aware and pay attention to their methods of seduction and manipulation so these things do not overtake us and become a snare to us.
Satan's devices
Don't let the devil shame you into self censorship, silence is consent to the wicked, hence why they desperately try to shut down any criticism to control the narrative. The devil will accuse you of what he is doing by projecting his guilt onto you and others, and it is an ancient tactic that works on most people. They will call you names and say you are this and that but we have to toughen up and make a stand when we know something is wrong. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil and never stop questioning those who assume authority over you, your family and friends.
Peter's confession of Christ
The spirits He cast out identified Him, but some men said He is John the Baptist, some Elijah and others Jeremiah... "But who do you say I am?" asked Jesus. Simon Peter answered "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonas, for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also to you, that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Peter was the first among men to confess with his mouth the true identity of Jesus, it was revealed to him by the Most High, and it was upon this first foundational confession that Jesus began building His church. Peter being the first of the Living Stones that would make up the spiritual Temple of Christ.
